The Sister Kathleen Ross snjm, Legacy Giving Circle
Dear Friend of Heritage,
齐天娱乐国际官网When I founded Heritage University with Violet Lumley Rau and Martha B. Yallup, I had only one mission, one dream: To provide the opportunity to earn a four-year degree to underserved and underrepresented populations of the Yakima Valley. In the time since, more than 8,500 students have graduated and gone on to better the lives of their families and our community.
Although I am retired from full-time work, I continue to pursue this dream of helping driven, intelligent students who might not otherwise get the chance to achieve their goals and reach their full potential. As a private institution, Heritage’s programs are not supported by federal and state dollars except for special projects. And although we’re grateful for the limited student aid from some government sources, what our students accomplish is only possible because of gifts from individuals like you. In fact, since almost 90% of our undergraduate students come from low-income families, without scholarships they could not finish their degrees.
齐天娱乐国际官网If you believe as we do that talent deserves opportunity, please join us in leveling the educational playing field for bright, eager and deserving students by providing for Heritage in your estate planning. There is a range of gifts that you can bequeath the university, from stocks and bonds to IRAs. You can also designate how your gift is applied and create an ongoing legacy for yourself or a friend or family member by creating a named scholarship fund. Your kindness will help improve the lives of graduates, their families and the community for years to come.
齐天娱乐国际官网As I look back and see how incredibly important long-range planning was when we decided to start Heritage, we thank you for considering Heritage University in your own long-range planning.
